About the author, John Donovan

John Donovan, the author of “Sir Henri Deterding and the Nazi History of Royal Dutch Shell”

John Donovan is a Shell shareholder, founder of the Shell Corporate Conscience Pressure Group and owns and operates several websites focussed on the activities of Royal Dutch Shell and its non-compliance with its own much trumpeted business principles. John has been quoted extensively as an expert on Shell by many major news publishers, including the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, The New York Times, Reuters, The Guardian, Daily Mail, Sun Newspaper etc. John can be contacted via john@shellnews.net

The activities of the Shell Corporate Conscience Pressure Group ended as a result of an extraordinary agreement with Shell many years ago, signed by John Donovan for the Donovan family and its company Don Marketing, and by the then Shell UK Managing Director, David Varney (now Sir David Varney). Unfortunately the lack of ethics and integrity at that time has continued unabated, as evident from the Shell oil and gas reserves securities fraud revealed in 2004, and the continuing epic corruption and environmental scandals in Nigeria arising from Shell’s evil exploitation.

royaldutchshellplc.com and its sister websites royaldutchshellgroup.com, shellnazihistory.com, royaldutchshell.website, johndonovan.website, shellnews.net, shell2004.com, shellshareholders.org, don-marketing.com and cybergriping.com are all owned by John Donovan. Good evening
My name is Georgina Leimer. I read your article about sir Deterding and I would like to know where the information is from as I have read other pieces that confirm Deterding to have little connection with the Nazis but especially stating that his connections with them where strictly for business. As I am however interested in the truth the source of this article and the way you formed your opinion would highly interest me.

    Kind regards
    Georgina Leimer

    Hello Georgina

Links are provided to the numerous sources for the information provided. The main single source being a four-volume History of Royal Dutch Shell published in 2007. Also many articles from recently digitalised newspaper archives.
